  12. I see a new 97 MB update rolled out in February 2014. Below are the details:

    GT-I9082 Galaxy Grand DUOS
    PDA: I9082XXUBNB2
    CSC: I9082ODDBNB1
    MODEM: I9082DDUBNB1
    Added: 2014-02-11

i just dont understand what stability update is this released for?

Phone shutdown and bootup is slow . I found that after updating the advance menu option after pressing VOLUME UP+POWER+CENTER BUTTON, the menu does not appear. Have to wait long and the screen flickers 2-3 times. After almost 3-5 mins the advance options menu appear. This is pathetic. Also, normal restarting of the phone, the screen flickers 2-3 times at the animated SAMSUNG logo. Really diappointed with this nonsense from google. I did a factory reset but again same issue.

Had anyone updated to the latest update? Is anyone facing the same issue? Please help how can this be resolved

  16. Welcome to the new Update. Do it at your own risk. This is a shitty update and please do not update if you have already not done it. The issues range from , extreme laggy, freezing, incoming call not appearing, dialer does not work, needs constant reboot, touch screen does not respond etc. It is too dangerous with this update, I have given up on Android and would wait for any solution till next week and then jump ship to Windows phone. I use this phone for my office and it is too risky to live on the edge always.

  17. Please do not update I9082XXUBNB2 version of 97MB its really horrible update.Phone lags, hangs and many more..

And if you already update then u can visit nearest service station and update the phone with old firmware update that will resolve and do not update any upgrade with reading reviews from google.....;)

Service station with cost around 250rs for upgrade if not in warranty..

  18. Yes the latest update is shitty and laggy , phone is almost like dead. I regret for buying this piece of shit by paying 21k. Moto G runs on 4.4.2 OS with outstanding performance for 12k. Can anyone please share link to email Samsung on this latest update?

  19. Have you tried calling up Samsung? Do call them on their toll free number 180030008282 and tell the about the issue so that they can receive maximum complaints about the issue and take care of the issue as soon as possible. I did call them thrice. Emailed them. They called me from Delhi. So please call them and mail them.

  29. Just talked to a samsung representative, he says that some files were not downloaded properly when I downloaded this so its causing lag. And the solution is to either wait for an update or to go to a service centre and ask them to repair the firmware part.

  35. Hi ,

I was also facing the same issue , I went Samsung Service Centre and told them about the hanging isssue , They took 3 -4 hours and update the OS . They update it to JDQ39.I9082XXUBMK3 build date Nov 11 instead of FEB 6

Now phone is working very fine. So request to all go to service centre , they will charge around 225 Rs if there is no warranty

  40. SOLVED!

Well, I did also unfortunately experienced the extreme lagging after update to 4.2.2. Alfter reading about possibilities I decided to downgrade. In order to do that I had to

    DECRYPT EXTERN AND INTERN STORAGE

after the decryption the phone is running just fine.
Allthou it is still annoynig to have all the data exposed but I hope Samsung will take care someday of it.

    Have fun trying 4.2.2
    Cheers from Germany
