How to Root Galaxy Note 3 SM-N9006 Running Android 4.3 Jelly Bean through Odin:

  1. Download CF-Auto-Root for Galaxy Note 3 N9006 and extract the Zip file: CF-Auto-Root-hlte-h3gzc-smn9006.zip
  2. Download Odin 3.07 and extract the Zip file: Odin
  3. Now, Switch off your phone and boot Galaxy Note 3 N9006 into Download Mode by pressing and holding the Volume Down+Home+Power buttons together (long press until the boot screen appear), now press Volume Up key to proceed to Download Mode.
  4. Run the Odin3 v3.07.exe file as an administrator (Right click on the .exe file and click on Run as administrator)
  5. Now connect your Galaxy Note 3 N9006 to your computer via USB cable
  6. In Odin3 screen, you should see a COM Port number like “0:[COM7]” at ID:COM section and “Added!” text at the message box. This means your device has been detected by Odin3.
  7. Make sure that, only the “Auto Reboot” and “F. Reset Time” options are checked.
  8. Now, click on the PDA button and select the CF-Auto-Root-hlte-h3gzc-smn9006.tar.md5 file.
  9. Finally, click on the Start button to begin the rooting process, wait few moments.
  10. Once completed, you would see “PASS!” message in ID:COM port having green background
  11. Your phone should automatically reboot after completion
  12. You can now disconnect your phone from computer

  3. please help, I had to download and backup all the files needed for the boot process, but once I try to go to download mode my phone by pressing and hold down vol {) + menu + power, I do not find the download menu mode , because all the menus that appear in the Chinese language. please help, menus which one should I choose?

    1. As written in 3. you did well until now. Where you see those Chinese menu entries just press VOLUME UP, as also mentioned in the post above. So, follow the instructions above carefully: VOLUME-DOWN + HOME + POWER, then wait until the Chinese screen appears and now press VOLUME UP and you will see the Download Mode (ODIN Mode) screen.

  4. I have the same problem, the volume Key up when i press nothing happens. I come to the chinese menu but then cannot do anything from there beyond. Can you help me ? Anyone has a solution for this ?
    I am stuck at point no. 3 Download mode does not appear ?
